Bamberg Wedding Movie

This was an amazing Bamberg wedding day from start to finish. And it might seem a bit out of order, but I'm going to begin at the end. The reception had some of the most amazing decorations I've ever seen. The reception took place on the grounds of the bride's parents' home, which was completely transformed into the perfect party location. With more string lights than you would see at most people's homes at Christmas time, the entire reception area was illuminated with white lights from end to end.

When I first arrived at their home for the reception, there were so many guests that they had golf carts transporting them from their cars to the party to eliminate the long walk. Talk about first class service with southern hospitality. Guess that's how they do things in Bamberg, SC. There were many great touches throughout the reception, but one that stood out to me was the flower seeds set out as a party favor. A sign next to the seeds encouraged guests to take a pack and plant them as a reminder of the wedding day. I'd never seen that before and thought it was a great touch with some originality.

Rebecca and James's ceremony took place at Bamberg First Baptist Church which has an awesome outdoor staircase leading up to the sanctuary. I knew I wanted to incorporate some cool drone footage of the staircase. Thankfully, after the ceremony the entire wedding party gathered on the staircase for photos, so I took advantage of the opportunity. I filmed a great sweeping shot of the group as I flew my drone straight at them and overhead while they cheered and celebrated. It's a quick shot, but it's the little things that make a memorable wedding movie.

Rebecca and James had an amazing day and I'm very thankful I was able to capture it. They are blessed with many friends and family that care for them and who were able to partake in such an important time in their lives. I wish them nothing but the best and hope that my wedding movie helps them relive those moments forever. Congrats guys!
