Cinematic Greenwood Wedding
This beautiful Greenwood wedding was filmed at the American Legion Post 20 in Greenwood, SC.
This was definitely a fun wedding with lots of love and support from those who care most about this couple. I was thankful to be a part of it. It was my first gig as a wedding videographer in Greenwood, SC so I was very excited to get started. The American Legion Post 20 is a great venue for a Greenwood wedding and it did not disappoint. The main conference room was stylishly decorated with beautiful flower arrangements and other decor. There was plenty of room for all of the activities to take place solely in the room, yet it was still small enough to feel like the entire space was filled.
Samantha and Soul had a really cool group of friends and family. From the moment I arrived, they all made me feel very welcome and always tried to accommodate me as a videographer. I had a blast listening to them cutting up as they got ready for the ceremony. That's one of the perks of being a wedding videographer. My main objective is to capture things as they happen, not direct people as they go. So, because of this, I'm able to laugh at jokes and bloopers as if I was part of the group. It doesn't affect my work, and it helps me build a relationship with the wedding party, which in turn makes everyone feel more comfortable around the camera.One of the funniest moments of the night was when the guys got into the photo booth props. All of a sudden, cartoon characters, presidents, and everything in between walked out onto the dance floor. I captured plenty of that footage, especially the reactions of those watching this spectacle unfold. It was hilarious! And honestly, the funniest part was seeing how much fun they were having wearing the masks. Once again, here's another example of how much fun it is to film others having an amazing time.
