We were hired by one of the world's largest laminate flooring producers, Swiss Krono, to produce a plant overview video for their new location in Barnwell, South Carolina.

The new plant is a $500,000,000 facility, so we went above and beyond to showcase it's most important features. What a golden opportunity to utilize our aerial drone! With massive towers, cranes, and other large scale components, we were able to provide Swiss Krono with amazing birds' eye views from high above. This also helped us with our tracking tags to allow viewers to know exactly what they are looking at when watching the plant overview video.

The video shoot was especially fun for us, as we were provided with a grand tour of the entire laminate flooring plant as we filmed. We witnessed areas of the plant most guests never get to see. Of course, that meant wearing protective helmets, vests, and ear plugs, but that just made the experience authentic. The representatives of Swiss Krono who showed us around as we filmed were amazing to work with. They were very accommodating and always looked out for us, especially in situations where safety was a potential concern.

Swiss Krono also requested we add graphics that provide viewers tidbits of information about the video clips on screen. So, we created a sliding, translucent red box that appears on the left side of the screen to ensure a better viewing experience that makes the text pop. When the dust settled after filming and the video was completely edited, we ended up with four and a half minutes of brilliant 10 bit, 4K plant overview video that we could all be proud of. We can't wait to work with Swiss Krono again. Fingers crossed, they'll fly us overseas to film at one of their other awesome locations!
