Rye Patch and Hopelands Gardens Wedding Movie

Amazing day at this Rye Patch and Hopelands Gardens wedding in Aiken, SC.  It was such a fun day from start to finish, and I'm very thankful to have been a part of it.  Filming a Rye Patch and Hopelands Gardens wedding was long overdue.  Living only ten minutes down the street from Hopelands Gardens and the Rye Patch made it a tantalizing wait.  So for that, I'm even more grateful that Shasta and Buddy chose me to film their big day.

I knew the moment I met Shasta and her friends it was going to be a fun day!  They were all so down to Earth and friendly, there was never any doubt that this wedding movie would be awesome.  They just naturally created great footage by simply being themselves.  I tried my best to let things play out in front of me.  No direction needed at this Rye Patch and Hopelands Gardens wedding!

Shasta had perfect taste for a wedding at the Rye Patch.  She knew she wanted a wedding with Oak Trees and Spanish Moss.  With the added chandeliers and string lights, the scene was perfection.  Just like she says at the end of the video, is was perfect and everything she wanted it to be.

The drone footage turned out great too!  It was pretty windy so I had to be careful.  Taking off from the ceremony spot at the heart of Hopelands Gardens was especially nerve racking.  With the wind whipping and the branches swaying, one false move and my drone was done for. Thankfully I was able to maneuver through the trees and escape to the safety of the wide open space above.  It's not often that you get a bird's eye view of Hopelands Gardens, so that was definitely a highlight of my day.

Again, I'm incredibly thankful to have been chosen to film this amazing wedding day.  The people, location, and love shared by everyone who attended was a pleasure to experience.
