Video Walkthroughs for Real Estate and Businesses
In the current stay-at-home days of the Wuhan Virus (aka Coronavirus/COVID-19), many consumers and potential clients prefer to visit new locations from the safety and comfort of their home. Thankfully, Stories and Stills has you covered for video walkthroughs for real estate and businesses. Being able to watch a video walkthrough on a cell phone or computer makes scoping out a new location easier than ever. We even incorporate aerial drone footage into most of our video walkthroughs to provide our viewers with a clear image of the outside of a location as well.
To enhance the look and smoothness of our video walkthroughs for real estate and businesses, we use a motorized gimbal. The motorized gimbals help to ensure silky smooth movements within the camera as we make our way throughout the building or location. We want our viewers to feel like they are there in person, so the gimbal is a necessity. Combined with the amazingly smooth footage of the aerial drone, the footage is like butter!
Now, many people often ask, "What's the difference between a virtual tour and a video walkthrough?" Well, first off, we provide both. But ultimately, a virtual tour is a self-guided tour of a location, whereas a video walkthrough is a continuous video that flows throughout the location. Virtual tours are great for those who really want the freedom to look around at the details of a location at their own speed. But if you're the type that just wants to click play once and see the highlights of a location, then the video walkthrough is for you.
This example of one of our video walkthroughs was for the brand new West Haven Pediatric Dentistry that recently opened in North Augusta, South Carolina. In order to spiff up the look of the drone video, we actually added the Sun. Yes, you read that correctly. The Sun. The weather that day was pretty blah and cloudy, so we added our own digital Sun and tracked it to the footage to behave as if it was there all along. I believe it definitely added to much needed life to the scene. Not to mention, it was a lot of fun adding it in there!
