Quinney Oaks Plantation is such a gorgeous location for a wedding, especially when Stories and Stills gets to provide the wedding photography. Our awesome photographers captured the day so perfectly. Not only did we photograph the wedding day, we also provided photography for the rehearsal dinner the night before. The shots we captured are amazing! So much fun and love at these two events. Located in Millen, Georgia, Quinney Oaks Plantation is a wedding venue with antebellum style and classic architecture that accentuates every event. Tall, white columns and beautifully landscaped grounds make this an amazing venue for wedding photography and wedding videography. We made great use of the wooded areas surrounding the main building. Wonderful shade from the tall pine trees, as well as the sunset popping over the horizon as the golden hour progressed, made for perfect photography conditions. Located only a short drive outside of Augusta, Georgia, as well as Statesboro, Georgia, Quinney Oaks Plantation was a regal wedding spot. The ceremony took place outdoors with amazing weather. We couldn’t ask for more. The wedding party approached through a grassy, courtyard-like area between rows of white chairs. This also made for tremendous wedding pictures with tons of ambient light and easy shadows that didn’t create harsh contrast. Needless to say, this was a photo editor’s dream!
