Sweetwater Country Club Wedding
This Sweetwater Country Club wedding in Barnwell, SC had it all.
It wasn't easy fitting this amazing Sweetwater Country Club wedding day into our highlight video option. And actually, I ended up going over a little. One of my favorite moments was when Allie and Kyle stood on opposite sides of a corner and held hands while their officiant prayed for them. They were careful not to see each other before their ceremony, which made for a tantalizing encounter. As many weddings as I've filmed, I've never captured a couple conduct a pre-ceremony prayer like that, but I highly recommend it to other engaged couples.
Allie and Kyle also wrote letters to each other that they read before the ceremony. Now, I realize this is a common practice, but Allie's gift for Kyle was pretty special. In the video you'll notice that Kyle lifts up a hunting shirt as he reads Allie's letter. Rather than getting Kyle some thing, she arranged an out-of-town hunting trip for him and some of his closest friends to attend together. You could easily tell how much it meant to him. I'm glad I was there to capture the moment for them to watch any time they like.
Finally, this reception was definitely in the running for one of the craziest I've been a part of. And that's a good thing. My favorite moment was when the guests hoisted Kyle and Allie up in the air and danced with them. They were even able to hug in mid-air as everyone cheered for them from below. It was an amazing moment that I know they'll never forget. But, just in case they do, I've got them covered ;).
