Trade Show Video Creation for Parker Avery Consulting
What a great experience this was for our team! Working with the Parker Avery group to produce an about us video for their firm, and more specifically their booth for the NRF Trade Show in New York City, was a blast. And if you’ve noticed that I say our projects were a blast pretty often, it’s because they are. We love what we do and hope to work with you soon too.
As Parker Avery prepared for their trip to New York City to present their booth at the NRF Retail Big Show, they were searching for a video production company to produce a video that they could play on their large TV displays. They would use these TVs to capture the attention of attendees, while also providing them with an introduction to their company. Thankfully, Parker Avery found us online, and we were tasked with creating a vision for their video. Needless to say, we were very thankful for the opportunity, as this is what we love to do!
Working with Parker Avery was a breeze. Our team gelled with their executives and made for a smooth day of filming. Most of their top executives do not live in the Savannah, GA or Pooler, GA areas, so they flew in just to film this video. No pressure on Stories and Stills or anything, geez! Knowing this, we had to ensure that our plan for the day was efficient. Thankfully, the Parker Avery group was ready to rock ‘n’ roll as soon as they arrived. I must say, we made it pretty easy on them from the start. The very first shots required them to sit at around a table and stage a business meeting, which after all is what they do all the time anyway. On top of that, they actually got some work done while we filmed them. Perfect!
As our business meeting shots concluded, it was time to venture out to some of the stories and businesses Parker Avery works with. The first stop was At Home where we filmed and directed the executives to stage a walkthrough. We also filmed a staged customer browsing the aisles. After wrapping up at At Home, we made our rounds to businesses such as Discount Tire, Wal-Mart, Abercrombie & Fitch, Carter’s, Dollar Tree, Aldi, and Under Armor, just to name a few. Some of the filming was aerial drone only, but a few we gathered footage indoors to provide a well-rounded perspective for viewers of the final video.
Back in the editing room, we strove to piece the footage together into something exciting and fast-paced. Armed with an awesome blockbuster-style music track, we spliced the clips to match the beat. This is a time-consuming process, but the final result is so cool when you’ve got the right music and clips to do it. See for yourself in the video posted in this page. Crank it up!
